I am currently working on the ClimSec
research project that aims at assessing the impact of climate change on
drought and soil moisture in France.
Two communications have been made to present the main lines of the
project at:
Within the first year of the project, two main tasks have been
completed:
 | A 50-year high-resolution (hourly, 8 km) hydroclimatic reanalysis
has been built over France with Safran-Isba-Modcou hydrometeorological
suite. |
The atmospheric Safran reanalysis and its validation are described in a
paper submitted to the International Journal of Climatology

 | I carried out a reanalysis of meteorological, agricultural and
hydrological drought events with standardized drought indices based on
Safran precipitation, Isba soil moisture and Modcou river flows. |
A communication on this topic has been made at the
General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (Vienna, 19-24
April 2009)

Another communication has been accepted to the conference
“Étiages-sécheresses- canicules rares et leurs impacts sur les usages de
l’eau”
(193e session of the scientific and commitee of
the
Société Hydrotechnique de France, Lyon, 7-8
October)
